New Music in New Places: Diana McIntosh at the Forks Market Building

Location: One Forks Market Road (the junction of the Red and Assiniboine rivers in downtown Winnipeg)

The Forks is one of Winnipeg’s premier attractions, drawing large numbers of both out of town visitors and Winnipegers. The Promo Centre building contains four restaurants, a food court, produce counters, and specialty shops. Diana McIntosh brings a theatrical approach to her performances and compositions that are sure to grab the attention of people at the Forks. Her program includes playful, humorous works as well as some of a more serious, evocative and dramatic nature.
