Darryl Eaton (1941-) has been composing since his studies at Berklee College of Music, Boston. He has played trumpet for numerous bands, orchestras and "Broadway" shows in Canada. he has also performed with The Buddy Rich Band, Phil Nimmons and The Stan Kenton band.

His compositions have been commissioned by the Vancouver Chamber Orchestra, the Canadian Brass, the CBC and the Mississauga (Ontario, Canada) Arts Council.
