Anne Lauber |
Anne Lauber is a graduate of the Montreal University in 1986 by receiving a Doctorat in music, minor in composition. She was awarded many grants from the Canada Council, from the Conseil des arts du Québec, from the CBC, etc. Her works have been performed by major Canadian orchestras in Toronto, Montreal, Quebec, Ottawa as well as in the United-States such as the Denver Philharmonic, Colorado. Works were commissioned by internationally renown artists and performed throughout Europe, Argentina, South Africa and Japan.
Aesthetic: for Anne Lauber, music is a universal and eternal language. For this reason, she keeps with tradition regarding forms and harmony to which she uses various compositional techniques by respecting the musical idea. The goal is to obtain communication and expressive clarity.
