ABOUT THIS CD

A roster of CCC singers found themselves in residence at Mennonite Collegiate Institute in peaceful and beautiful Gretna, Manitoba in August of 2009. After 8 years of labouring with love, the CCC organization has realized its dream of recording an all-Canadian CD. The recording features special guests, mezzo-soprano Christianne Rushton of Nova Scotia and talented cellist, Se Hee Kim. The recording is a breath-taking one with pieces by Canadian composers including: Allan Rae; Jocelyn Morlock; Lionel Daunais; Jeffrey Ryan; as well as the CCC's recently commissioned piece At Sunset by beloved CCC Composer-in-Residence, Jeff Enns of Elmira, Ontario...the repertoire is truly a treasure chest of Canadian jewels.
