CMC BC DIGITAL CREATIVE HUB PRESENTS
STANDING WAVE ENSEMBLE LIVE-STREAMED CONCERT

Date: Thursday, January 15
Time: 7:30 PM Pacific
Live-Stream: http://new.livestream.com/accounts/8804282/events/3713048

Vancouver's cutting-edge chamber sextet is back! This year's NMF show includes Nicole Lizee's 'Sculptress' - an ode to the 1960s BBC Radiophonic Workshop and its nocturnal soundscape pioneers - and Jocelyn Morlock's 'Theft' (Water Clocks, Insomnia) - music loosely based on the feeling of panic and fascination that ensues when you hear the birds start to sing loudly in the morning after you've been up all night. Captivating and caffeinating. The concert will also feature works by Claude Vivier, arr. Michael Oesterle, John Luther Adams, and the show will conclude with Steve Reich's monumental 'Double Sextet'. CMC BC Digital Creative Hub is proud to present this live-streamed concert.
