Will Callaghan

Will Callaghan is a graduate of the University of Toronto Faculty of Music, where he studied french horn performance under former Toronto Symphony Orchestra member Harcus Hennigar. Active as a freelance musician around Toronto, Will has performed with a variety of ensembles such as the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, Sneak Peek Orchestra, Corktown Chamber Orchestra, Queer Songbook Orchestra, Etobicoke Philharmonic, Windago, Heliconian Choir and Orchestra, Bijoux Quartet, and Symphony on the Bay. He is also Co-director and principal horn of the chamber music collective Musica Reflecta, promoting new music both in concert as well as through the new music workshop Opus: Testing and the Toronto Creative Music Lab. Recently he assumed the role as Assistant Conductor with the Corktown Chamber Orchestra in Toronto. Will began working at the Canadian Music Centre in the music services department in early 2014 where he is responsible for coordinating CMC productions and performance space rentals as well as publishing scores.
