The Acadia Wind Ensemble and Acadia Chamber Orchestra present the world premiere of “Wired and Wound” for solo saxophone (performed by Tristan De Borba) by Derek Charke and “Four Sections” by Steve Reich.

The Acadia New Music Society (ANMS) is proud to present its 8th annual new music festival. Featuring: Jeffrey Zeigler, a world-class artist from New York City and former cellist of the Kronos Quartet. The Blue Engine String Quartet, Nova Scotia’s premiere quartet and members of Symphony Nova Scotia. NBG Ensemble, our resident festival Pierrot-style group. The Acadia Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra, Acadia teaching faculty, and regional performers and composers.
