Description:

Music industry workers regularly experience music’s life-changing impact; it inspires us to tough out dry seasons and structure our lives around its variability. How do we share this impact, customize it for different audiences and spread positive social change through our work?

Learn from those working to that end and see how music is crossing boundaries in your communities through creative projects.

Now is the time to find like-minded peers and role models with ideas for music outreach, community engagement and artistic collaboration.

Speakers:

Mark Campbell is the Director of The FCAD Forum for Cultural Strategies at Ryerson University, the Founder of Northside Hip Hop Archive and a current a Board Member with the Ontario Arts Council.

Nas Khan is a media artist, musician, community-engaged arts educator and an arts administrator at the Ontario Arts Council.

Richard Marsella is the Executive Director of the Regent Park School of Music.
