Programme Note:
The title of FIRELINE is derived from the title of an architectural composition from 1988 by Daniel Libeskind. The letters of the vocal part spell the seven last words of Metaphysics (Energia, Created Being, Idea, Will to Power, Subject, Spirit, Being) which make up the texts of the eight books in the "Reading Machine" of Daniel Libeskind's THREE LESSONS IN ARCHITECTURE (exhibited at the 1985 Venice Biennale).
