Programme Note:
This piece was written for a concert presented as part of the Mozart Festival in 2006 at London's Royal College of Music. The title, "Paris 1777," alludes to Mozart's fateful stay in that city through the summer of 1777; his mother died there. Some of this trio's material is derived from works Mozart wrote during that period.
