Roddy Ellias (b. 1949) earned his Master of Music in composition from the Université de Montréal where he studied with André Prévost. He is presently a professor of composition, arranging and performing at Concordia University and continues to pursue an active career as a jazz guitarist, appearing on stage with many renowned international musicians.
