He is presently working on his Doctorate degree in composition at the Université de Montréal under the supervision of Denis Gougeon, while studying privately with Philippe Leroux in Paris.

He started composing by collaborating with the Slovak choreographer Zuzana Hajkova, for whom he composed, performed and conducted four contemporary dance projects. He is presently working on a 3 act opera based on Kafka’s Metamorphosis, where all these technologies will meet. He will be joined by librettist Serge Patrice Thibodeau. Adding to vocal and instrumental composition, he will use video, spatial distribution of sound and real-time applications all in the goal of getting closer to the ideal of the Gesamtkunstwerk...

His catalogue is comprised of about 20 chamber, vocal and scenic works that have been heard in concert series and festivals in Montréal, Vancouver, Ottawa, Dortmund, Prague, Bratislava, Zagreb, Beirut, Volgograd, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and in many other cities in Canada and Europe. He is the only New-Brunswick born composer to ever win a prize in the CBC National Competition for Young Composers (2001).
