One of the featured writers is Jacques Hetu, mentor of Orchestra London music director Alain Trudel

“When I was young, one of my aspirations was to be a composer,” Trudel has said of Hetu. “I was very interested in all the new works that were created in Montreal . . . Jacques Hetu was and still is one of my favourites.”

Hetu’s Antinomie is on Friday’s program. Orchestra London and Western University Symphony Orchestra, both under Trudel’s baton, will perform at the fest..."
