Centrevisits

CentreVisits is designed specifically to help build awareness, strengthen understanding and increase appreciation of Canadian composers and their work. As such, it is an extremely flexible program that can be adapted to a wide variety of curricular and group learning requirements.

CMC-Ontario’s CentreVisits program combines a behind-the-scenes look at the CMC’s history and activities with professional guided use of our unique national library collections. CentreVisits are often combined with a customized project or composer workshop tailored to your visiting group's specific learning needs.

Past clients of the CentreVisits program include a range of secondary schools from throughout Ontario, the School of Toronto Dance Theatre, ORMTA, University of Toronto Faculty of Music, the RCM Glenn Gould Professional School, and classes from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. Demand always exceeds CMC-Ontario's ability to comfortably accommodate need. Therefore, groups are encouraged to book their CentreVisits early.

For more information, or to make arrangements for your own CentreVisit, call CMC-Ontario at 416-961-6601 ext. 207 or send e-mail to ontario@musiccentre.ca.
