The Canadian Music Centre and BreakOut West are pleased to announce that violinist Karl Stobbe, Associate Concertmaster of the Winnipeg Symphony, will perform at the 2015 Western Canadian Music Awards Classical Nominees' Showcase. The concert will include performances from many notable performers and ensembles. Doors open at 1:30pm and the showcase will begin at 2:00pm. Seating is first come first served. Admission with festival wristband or by donation.

In line with a new policy of the WCMAs this year, the awards for Classical Recording of the Year and Classical Composition of the Year will be officially presented at the Classical Nominees’ Showcase. For the first time, the awards will be presented live on stage at the conclusion of the concert.
