Hear some of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s original tunes and classical favourites in Whistler on Canada Day weekend

"As Canadians from coast to coast get ready to celebrate their country’s 150th birthday this weekend, the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra (VSO) is putting extra care into crafting a uniquely Canadian setlist ahead of their annual Canada Day performance in Whistler.

Led by conductor Bramwell Tovey, the orchestra will open with, of course, “O Canada,” before launching into “Hullabaloo,” written by VSO composer in residence Jocelyn Morlock. The piece was specifically commissioned for the sesquicentennial celebration..."
